i don't set out to compile these FIVE THINGS lists with any sort of "theme" in mind but sometimes it just works out that way. this list is representing how i am feeling this week, mid-january, in need of the good things that winter can bring - lots of comfort food, cozy woolen things, and probably too much binge watching of netflix and cable. but who am i to say what is too much of a good thing?
^THIS documentary, "Bill Cunningham New York" gave me all the feels. Such an incredible life story about a man who continues to follow his passion and remain humble and grounded despite having lived a life filled with experiences fit for a fictional mini-series. i five starred it on netflix.
>this winter i am all about the giant hats with giant poms and giant-er cozy scarves. canadian winters are cold but i feel well-dressed and warm. (side note: my obsession with distressed denim continues. so good.)
^there is definitely a huge difference between hand lotion and THIS hand repair balm. it has worked wonders for my winter ravaged hands and elbows and the smell is oh so yummy.
>these ladies. do i need to say more?
^more netflix? yes! i absolutely adored every second of the BBC's ENDEAVOUR, the prequel story of Inspector Morse. the setting, the costumes, the intelligence of the characters (and that face makes for easy viewing as well). any recommendations for what i should snuggle in for and watch next?
